We went for a rare date night with no kids for NYE and it was great. The menu was amazing from the first bite shrimp, down to the cool dessert. Service as always was good. If you want a date night, not many better places to Go.
A fun, entertaining and unique dining experience! Overall the customer service was great from the hostess seating me immediately, to the waitress coming over to the table in a timely manner for our orders. While we ate the manager even checked in on us. The restaurant was clean. Meals were hot and well prepared (because we are in charge of our own food). Drinks replenished immediately. Great deal going on right now through the weekend where kids can eat free with and adult purchase. My kids appreciated the experience and my wallet did too! Next time it will be date night and less complaining about the cheese course!
Came for a girls night birthday dinner. It was my friends first time but not mine. As usual it was a wonderful experience and they loved it. We ordered their version of Long Islands and it was good. Did the 4 course meal which always leaves me full and satisfied.
Exceptional dining experience at The Melting Pot in Newport News, VA! Our server Lauren was outstanding, guiding our group of 6 with professionalism and expertise. The fondue cheese and chocolate were decadent, the Caesar salad impressive, but the Entrée truly stole the show! My herb crusted chicken breast, teriyaki, and garlic peppered steak I cooked to my desired state of perfection. Lauren's attentive service and the culinary delights made for a truly unforgettable evening. Cooking our own meals never felt so fun! 5 stars and a huge thumbs up! Highly recommended!
We've been to this location 4 times so far and will continue to come back. Lateshia(sp?) is the most wonderful server, she is so sweet and personable and she really goes above and beyond to make your experience special. If you aren't blessed with my favorite server, just know that all of the servers and hosts are kind and accommodating. You'll be in good hands no matter what! The ambience is chill and can be romantic if you have a special date planned. I love that you can book reservations easily online and request special extras. Is it a bit pricey? Sure. But the service is fantastic and the food is consistently good. If you like to try new things, there are tons of combinations of broths, cheeses, and dippables to keep you on your toes.
The server was excellent and very knowledgeable, helping us with food choices for 2 young boys. And the food was amazing, as always!

This was our first time experiencing The Melting Pot and it was one of the best experiences ever!! The food was amazing and on point, more than plenty of food so come hungry! Our server Alyssa H was personable and very informative. She made our experience fun and relaxing - I was first a little intimidated. The ambiance and atmosphere was also very calm and relaxing. Low lighting and soft music. While our first experience was for our Valentine’s Day celebration, I will definitely be returning to exploremore of the menu and enjoy the delicious food! 1st... amazing! It was our first time here, we did the 4 course meal for 2 (we did the "big night out") so we got to try EVERYTHING!! Why does apple and cheese work? Lol 2nd our server was amazing, sweet, took her time to explain to us what we were getting ourselves into. We will 100% be back! Loved this whole experience!!!
My wife made surprise reservations for the Sunday after Valentine's Day. This is our favorite place to go for holidays and anniversaries. Lillian was our server and we can't say enough good things about her. She was friendly, honest and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time and felt very comfortable interacting with her. She made the experience fun. In the past we have had servers that are a bit "bland" to be polite. We don't visit often because it can be a little pricey but we hope Lillian will still be here because we will 10000% request her every time.
